Pre-EBC trek
Started early with a crisp air and chilly ideal for hiking this 10,000 trail peak. The beginning of the trail has lots of thorny bushes that long pants is necessary amazing that there are switchbacks which i didn’t noticed until we were going down. Halfway in the trail is a nice flat area for camping which would be nice but there are no water source nearby. Near the summit is a Washington memorable plaque that marks the historic San Bernardino Meridian Initial Point established by U.S. Deputy Surveyor Colonel Henry Washington in 1852, which served as the geographical origin for nearly all land surveys, property lines and roadways. On the top there’s no 360 degrees view but lots of mountain ranges views .
