Amazing Day… awesome but strenuous hike for sure!  Hunter and I started about 7:30am and it took us 6 hours roundtrip (he could have done it faster but it was a bit more challenging for me as there was lots of large boulders and I have short legs… was like doing lots and lot of lunges and squats. LOL

The weather was gorgeous… 52 when we started and 79 by the finish – lots of clouds… great for photos.  LOTS of yellow wildflowers carpeting the landscape.  The hike was long as it truly does have quite a bit of bouldering and climbing.  Great exercise.  Even though we have “social distancing” due to the Coronavirus this trail was great because we only saw about 15 other people on the trail the entire 6 hours.  We were the ONLY 2 people at the top of Flatiron along with several lizards, birds and chipmunks – it was peaceful – and what a view.

The scenery and photo opportunities abounded.
