Quartz Peak 2 Challenges in1

This was a challenge. It is uphill, climbing rock, and scrambling. But glad I did it. Not a lot of people but they were experienced hikers, looking out for each other.

Harry and I joined up with some and went to the top together. That smooth white top. From a distance, it looked like snow.

Getting there was as much of a challenge as the hike. Dirt road is being kind. More like a path with gouges. Thank goodness my car has a little higher clearance.
