Steep climb right off the bat. Lots of loose rock. Last quarter mile was slow climbing, but fun. The views and quartz at the summit were a great reward. The dirt road in and out was an adventure in itself. Wildflowers just beginning to bloom. Beautiful, sunny day. Great company. Beautiful hike.
