Great day for a hike wish we would have started at 7 am instead of 9 am. The trail has minimum shade so pack a hat with a wide brim. Cactus blooms are still available to see. Awesome hike just not ideal on these warmer days coming up. The road to the trail coming from Maricopa can only be accessed by a high-clearance vehicle with 4×4.
