“Really Just a Knoll” Sizer

My friends and I had a nice day…the weather was clear and sunny…but I must say that this was our least favorite “peak” and hike so far. It’s an anticlimactic bump on a ridge and I found the steep uphill climb out to be demoralizing. If I’m conquering a peak, ought not the return be downhill? 🙂

Highlights for us included lots of woodpeckers and their storage trees and a final treat at the end of the day…a bobcat sighting!
