Restful Humming to the Mount

There is limited parking at the trailhead. Start early to get parking (or to get respite from the heat in the peak summer). Another option is to do the trail in reverse, since there is more parking at the top. It is more challenging since the ascent would be on the back half of the hike. Partially shaded trail. Bring water.The weather was relatively cool. I felt refreshed. The views from the top are spectacular. (No wonder it was used as an observation station with radar during the cold war)
