Completed my 5th peak for this challenge. As you know I am up here for a week, solo camping in my trailer to knock out the last 3 peaks in this challenge.
This trail has such a beautiful welcome to the trail with stairs and lush foliage, wild flowers blooming along the trail. It is heaven.
It’s a steady climb to the summit, started at 10:20am and ended at 2:19 and that was with tons of short 10 second breaks. A quick Brandi stop at the peak (No snacks, no potty break, no rest) just how I like it. Quick 5mins break or so and back down I go. Lots of this park to explore yet.
The beauty on the ascent and descent is stunning. Views for days. The stream crossings, the flowers, the forest, the shadows, the breeze… I’m here for it!
