Road to Baden-Powell Finally Open!!

This hike has been one we have wanted to do for so long. Thanks to this app and this wonderful community of hikers, we were able to verify the road has been open to get there via Wrightwood. It was a beautiful day and not too many hikers out. The weather was absolutely perfect. We did have to get out the bug spray as we were bit by mosquitoes as soon as we entered the parking lot, but all in all the bugs were not too bad. This was a nice change for us doing an 8 miler instead of the 14 mile Cucamonga hike we did last week. I definitely recommend this hike as one of your first peaks to climb in the challenge!
