7/27/2025:

On a beautiful Sunday morning, I decided to hike up to the peak of Mount San Jacinto.  I drove myself to the Idyllwild Ranger station to self issue myself a San Jacinto wilderness permit.  After that I drove to the Marion Mountain trailhead.  It was late start for me.  It was already 7 a.m.

The first mile was all incline.  I slowly got up them.  I took a lot of break.  And at the same time enjoying the summer blooming flowers.  My tired legs and fatigue mind set in.  They told me to give up.  I came this far and won’t be deter by them.  I remain composed and slowly crept myself up those nasty switchbacks.     Slowly, but surely; I reached the summit.  I didn’t stayed long because of the time I have to made up for my late start.

Woohoo!  Mount San Jacinto bagged.
