We adopted a dog.last week and this was our first hike with her. The trail was covered in snow 3/4 of the hike and quite.icy in patches. Crampons not strictly necessary but they sure did make life easier! Lots of trail runners out and the parking lot got packed early. Great day and only windy at the summit.
