Rock and Root Blue Crew – Mount Umunhum

This was a perfect day for a hike!  Our day started off at 7 am and once again with the great directions provided by Social Hiker and the All Trails App we started our trek with no problems at all.  This well covered trail offered a canopy of shade even though we didn’t need it due to the cool temps.   We enjoyed our short hike to the top but was disappointed that we didn’t get to take our typically picture with the geological symbol.  We believe the symbol was tucked away behind a gated construction site.  Capturing that symbol has become a tradition for our group.  Nonetheless, we captured what we could on this gorgeous day. The hike was exactly has described and we completed our 8+ mile round trip!
