Rocky Mountain Peak was an interesting hike. Not really hard in terms of the trail itself, but it was hard to navigate. The trail is heavily trafficked due to the Manitou Incline connecting to the Barr Trail. We will admit that we started our day later than anticipating. Parking was hard to find and actually we had to park in town and then walk to the trailhead ( about 3/4 mi up). There was high volume of descending hikers. But once we got beyond the top of the incline there was hardly anyone else. However, there was no signage for Rocky Mountain Peak. We actually had to reference our phone on the All Trails App, to make sure we were on the right path. But we were able to summit and it was a descent view at the top. All-in-all, happy to check another hike off of the list. Bonus- we were able to hike the incline the following day.
