“It’s only 8.1 miles” we thought. “How hard could it be?”
Omg did we underestimate this one. Thought the peak is only four miles in, you gain and lose so much along the way. We loved snacking at the top and even exploring a little farther for a geocache nearby.. but this peak had another false peak on the way to it. And the trudge back uphill at the very end was an absolute beast. How did we not think about this one the hike in? At any rate, we conquered this trail and completed our six pack!
