Breezy day made for a nice summer hike to Rose Peak. First two miles congested with Little Yosemite visitors and then it clears out. Enjoyed seeing all the cows.
Note: Allow extra time for parking. The rangers were restricting vehicles and the wait can take an hour or more to enter the park.

I attempted to summit rose peak today but the trail to del valle via rose peak (at marker 19) is closed. Which trail did you go?
I followed the Rose Peak from Sunol route on All Trails. I got lucky that day with parking fee waived and rangers who were on staff that day. I had checked the logs at the trailhead and hikers seemed to be getting through as their were several recent entries. I have friends who went on a day where the park wasn’t fully staffed so Rose Peak access was closed. Good luck!
