Rose Peak

Great hike, and what a challenge.  Very beautiful and pleasant all day, where the afternoon return was warmer than expected in the mostly exposed trail sections.  Don’t know how it happened, but the fast group of us got up to the top in 3.5 hours, and back down in 3 hours (I think the near rattler snake bite event induced an extra level of adrenaline).   Keep your eyes open for the snakes, even directly on the trail or near sign posts.
