Parked in the Sunol parking lot. Saw a group of deer and turkeys hanging out in the rain. Started at 8. Went up Canyon View Trail to McCorkle Trail. Saw some more deer on the McCorkle Trail, as well as a pig. Followed McCorkle Trail until it reached Ohlone Wilderness Trail.  Followed the trail markers up to Rose Peak. Stopped for lunch and headed back down. Reached the parking lot back at 5. Water levels were higher than usual.
