Rose Peak from Sunol

Woo hoo, my second in the 2022 Six-Pack of Peaks. Today it was Rose Peak from Sunol Regional Wilderness parking with the hiking group, including my wife Kim and Six-Pack of Peaks ambassador Karl Doll. Great January weather, great views, trails in good condition, and a nice group to walk and chat with. After the fierce winds we experienced on Friday, the conditions today were sunny and bright with just light winds. Perfect for hiking. View just got better as we climbed higher through the green hills. Picked up a few geocaches on the way (or way back down), including the cache near the summit of Rose Peak. Recorded about 18.5 miles and 4000′ of elevation gain. Lots of fun!
