Saddle up Peralta (Perrault) style

The road in was one of my favorite things. I am from NJ, and when we talk dirt roads, it’s nothing southern or country style like the dirt road through a desert to an amazing mountain range. The vegetation reminds me of a few sections in TN on the Smokey’s Cherokee side. Nevertheless, the views are like from another planet. It reminded me of “Halo,” and the covenant was out to get me once I hit the miraculous saddle mountain. It was like a green screen, and the rocks are gnarly. I had such an amazing time on this hike. It was easier than expected with a very steady incline!
