San Bernardino–11th Peak!

Still a good bit of snow from the storm last week.  Saw a hiker who tuned around due to conditions.  We continued once we had our microspikes on.  We felt they were necessary for a portion on the way up but due to more melting, we skipped them on the way down.  Poles were absolutely necessary especially once we removed our spikes.  I would highly recommend pants as the prickly bushes are really encroaching on the trail.  Gorgeous day to be out there with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.  Got to enjoy some fall colors too.
