Minimal patches of snow, not on the trail. Small amount of water flowing at Limber Pines Spring.

I’m not sure why I thought 16 miles with 4600 ft elevation gain was a great first hike after taking some time off from hiking, but the offer was there, so I jumped on it!

This hike was no joke! Beautiful scenery, but all the guides are right when they say the climb starts early. I was grateful for the flat bits once we hit the manzanita flats. Coming down felt like a bit of a slog, tbh. It just seemed to go on forever and ever!

The hike is gorgeous, and I was excited to see some of the other mountains on my list along the way.
