San Bernardino Peak

This was a tough one for me. Going up was okay, had to stop a couple times. It was very pretty, so high up. The top was absolutely stunning! The sign is completely falling apart. But I was able to get the pics I wanted. Comong back down, it was miserable. I’ve never felt so old. My ankles, my knees and my feet were killing me by the end. The first (and last) 3 miles were full of bugs. Took about 12 hours for my group to finish. These 17 miles were no joke. I do not look forward to San G after this one. But it was very pretty, and with good company.
