Start time was 3:20am and ended up going to East San Bernardino Peak which I highly recommend for unobtrusive views if you have more gas in you. Only ran into one other solo hiker the entire time and only after 8 hours of being in the wilderness. Glorious! Safely made it to the trailhead in my 2WD vehicle on the dirt bumpy road. Fantastic day out there with no bugs and steady elevation gains without intense inclines.
