Well midsummer is warming up, so an earlier start time is important.  We started our hike at 4:45 a.m. only having to wear our headlamps for 40 minutes at most.  Such a pretty hike but boy does that mountain make you work for it.  The steepest and toughest part was from Columbine to Limber Pines.  1,300 feet elevation gain in one mile!!! Yikes!  However, #10 of 12 is now complete and I couldn’t be happier.
