San Hellcinto Peak

Our group was really feeling good up through Wellman’s, but the beating sun and the elevation took a toll on our group through the ridge line. And a crowded summit meant a quick photo and down to the hut for a snack. By the time we rested, we got back to Wellman’s relatively quickly but a minor fall from a member of our group on the way up made passing through the snow patches on the way down challenging. We were wiped by the end of it. But it was a beautiful day on the mountain – 7:21 minutes moving time. 9 hours total. 11.31 miles
