Cactus to Clouds – Skyline/Museum TH to San Jacinto Peak to Marion Mountain TH.
C2T/C2C: Skyline recently reopened from the museum. The 10 miles from museum to tram are currently 100% snow free.
Tram to summit: There is still snow from the tram to summit and microspikes are recommended. Snow yesterday added more but will likely melt away in 2 weeks.
Marion Mountain to summit: MM had many snow and ice fields last weekend and microspikes were necessary for the upper 3 miles. However yesterday (this hike log) had a dumping of new snow, and more than 90% of the route was covered in snow from summit to trailhead. Snow will likely stay until end of May in Little Round Valley campground and under the heavy tree areas.
