San Jacinto Peak

Love San Jacinto Wilderness! It’s my second time doing this hike, using one of the longer routes to the peak. The varied scenery never gets old. Started at 7am and felt good on the climb up. It helped alot that there was cloud cover and a slight breeze. Didn’t feel the heat until I was descending in the early afternoon. Bugs were slightly annoying at points, but manageable. I had rinsed w/ Sallyeander bug repellant soap in the am and used bug spray. The combo seemed to work really well.
