Overall, it was a nice hike. The trail is pretty rocky. Lot of larger rocks, not gravel. Definitely easier coming down. Beautiful views during the hike and unmatched views from the top could see miles in every direction. Quite a busy day for the hike.

It was a warm warm day and extremely dry. So needed every drop of water that I had. The tram ride is enjoyable. Palm Springs was burning. Coming down after the hike, it was a difficult change – 112 in the town, a 30-ish degree change within 10 mins of tram ride.

The next time, I would rather take the evening tram up, camp at the base and start early the next morning for better weather.
