Santa Fe Baldy – Competed my six pack!

Long day. I was suspicious about the very level trail. Then once I hit the ridge I knew why. Very steep before the summit. Other than that it was a very beautiful day. Lots of green still. This could be a great hike in the fall with so many Aspen. I’ve been trying to do Santa Fe Baldy for awhile but kept hitting bad weather. Hike turned out to be 15 miles and that gradual incline at the end is a bear. Not many on the trail, but it was a Friday.
