Santiago and go and go and still going

The gate was locked at the parking lot so we hiked to the beginning of the trail. Our hike ended up being 22 miles! The good part about the gate being locked was there weren’t any of the 4x4s that usually drive quickly and kick up dirt. So while it was a looooong hike it was much more peaceful. We saw the abondoned truck, lots of lady bugs, and took the extra hike to Medjeska peak too. We made it back with only minutes to spare before dark.
