We started early, chance of winds & high heat. Had shade most of the way up. Was breezy so it felt good. Lots of activity on fire road , trucks &  motorcycles. Edison was working on electrical lines. Last mile activity with helicopters & linemen. Had mostly sun coming down. It was at our backs, had cool breeze that made it ok.Over all road was in good shape, long but not much of a climb. Moderate easy hike.
