Santiago Peak

We hiked up Cadillac to Joplin trail to the entrance of the peak since it’s still closed due to the fires last year. We brought up amini champagne and made a toast to our 12th peak this year! We logged 16 miles round trip. I would recommend hiking up maple springs as this trail was very overgrown, not well maintained, lots of loose rocks, TONS of bugs, highly suggest to wear a bug net around your head. There was two streams but not advised to drink from them.
