A gorgeous day, high 70’s with a light wind and sunny.  We were so excited to be able to complete our last, 6th summit, and our challenge.  Due to COVID-19 the park had been closed for over a month.  The trail is very easy to follow, for the most part you just follow Ohlone Wilderness Trail.  Wild flowers were out, fields of beautiful orange poppies.  And we only saw one other person the whole day.

The hike was 20 miles and 5500 vertical feet.

  1. Looks like a beautiful day! I’ve been wanting to get out there and do it as an overnight. Is the parking open again or did you make special drop off/pick up arrangements?
