Saved the best one for last – Sawmill

Peak 6 – Sawmill which is what I’ve been waiting to hike for some time.  Started the adventure around 9am after a couple hrs drive from San Diego.  Chilly start with windy conditions but not too bad.  At about 1.7 hit Mt Pinos peak first before venturing onto the trail towards Sawmill.  Great workout of a hike!  My fellow hiker friends and I celebrated at the peak with a toast and wearing holiday hats.  We encountered other hikers but not many.  We even met a couple who were also fellow six pack of peak challengers!  Pretty cool. All in all…. Glad this one was done and it was worth the trip.
