Sawmill Thrill Hill

This one was a steady up-and-down adventure. The trail was mostly well-maintained and shaded, which made the climb much more pleasant. We crossed paths with a few horseback riders and a couple of puppies — always a fun sight — and shared the trail respectfully, often walking single file through narrower sections.
There were some steep parts where we slowed down and took our time, but the breeze and comfortable temps made it all manageable. Blue skies peeked through the canopy, and the views opened up beautifully at the summit.
At the top, we grabbed some great shots with the handmade summit signs — a perfect reward after the climb. Grateful for trails like these that challenge you just enough and still let you breathe it all in.
