Beat the fires and smoke by doing a daddy daughter hike to Pinos and Sawmill today. Conditions were perfect. Sunny, low 60s, clean air, no bugs. Little bit of thornbush on the downhill from pino to sawmill. Glad we wore pants. Kiddo got a bunch of personal bests. Her highest elevation, longest, first double peak, and highest summits in Ventura and Kern Counties.
