Sawmill with a side of Mt Pinos

Loved this hike! It’s more challenging than we thought due to the grade. We added on Grouse and Sawmill which made the hike 11 miles and 2800 ft. A lot of shade from a beautiful, dense pine forest. And the weather was just perfect. The trail is very well maintained and just far enough out to avoid the heavy LA crowds. Don’t overthink this, this is your next hike!
