Scenic Fremont Saddle

Another beautiful Spring day in the Valley of the Sun. The road leading to Peralta Trail is not paved but is in good condition. We started once again at 6:30 a.m. so it wasn’t crowded at all. This was a nice mellow hike to the Saddle…very picturesque. I was surprised that the first mile of the trail was shaded by big boulders and vegetation. We saw Weaver’s Needle looming in the distance once we reached the top. Thoroughly enjoyed this hike. No snakes yet.
