“Seagull” Peak

The drive from Los Angeles wasn’t too bad even though I felt tired from the night before.  I learned a new word in Spanish from doing this hike.  It was another climb for the entire hike but still nothing too crazy.  An unexpected heat wave moved in this weekend which created more of a challenge but the views up top were incredible.  Two of the Channel Islands were within sight (San Miguel and Santa Rosa) at the top of the peak.  All in all a pretty straight forward hike but I’d recommend it for the views.
