Started 4 am to beat the heat. No issues following the trail in the dark. Temps were 74 degrees at the base but windy and almost cold near the top. The trail offered breathtaking views of pines, cedars, streams and moon like bare landscape towards the summit. Plenty water sources so no need to carry a lot of water if you have a good filter.
