SG Wonderful Winter Conditions
Summit forecast 20 degrees and 20+ mph wind. On the way up, there was a perfect chill with the mtns blocking the freezing wind most of the hike. I started late just after 7am and ended up finishing in the moonlight. Quite a few hikers most of whom were coming down passed me along the ridge section. There were a few snow patches along the ridge but none were dangerous and for the most part they were small enough to circumvent if you wanted to skip them. SG is always a long trek but well work it.
