Sitton in the Sun!!

I hiked Sitton Peak on Monday and it turned out to be beautiful. The hike offered stunning views that made the climb worth it, but a large portion of the trail was overgrown. Long pants and sleeves are highly recommended to avoid scratches.

My moving time was about four hours, which means an early start is key. By the time we descended, it was already over 100°F, and we passed several hikers who were just starting out in the heat. Overall, a rewarding hike with panoramic views, but timing and preparation are everything on this trail.
