Hiked with a group

This morning was the perfect hike in all categories. The weather itself was a bit cool in the morning around 8am but after about a good 45mins to an hour in to the hike it got warmer. I didn’t start with much layers on to begin with and I was fine with leggings, shorts, compression shirt then a very thin shirt over that. Thin socks then darn tough socks over those and I felt perfect the whole hike. Packed gloves and beanie just in case but never needed them. At the top of Sitton Peak it was definitely windy but no way could I go back down, the views was just incredible. The trail itself was in great condition besides some horse poop. Definitely gotta pay attention to the trail markers because we almost missed the main marker to go up to the top. No trouble coming back. Maybe ran into 4 other hikers the whole time. Great First hike of the year.
