Sitton Peak!

Parked in the lot across from the Candy Store – had to cross the street to get to the Bear Canyon trailhead. For the first 4.5 or so miles we thought it was pretty easy… The last half mile quickly changed our mind. The last climb to the peak was definitely a challenge! Really neat views from the peak out to Catalina and the range behind. It took us about 4.5 hours round trip – we didn’t stay at the peak too long since there was a pretty big group up there, making the rocks a bit crowded. Nice combination of sun and shade throughout the trail too! We were out from 10:30am – 3:00pm
