Least favourite hike so far. Quite literally felt “uphill both ways” in the sense that we descended a bunch at the beginning to ascent “the shortcut” to an underwhelming peak, then descend and ascent equally *again* to make it back to where we started. Not a monotonic ascend/descent situation as I would’ve preferred. Was able to take some nice photos along the way however. It also gets sunny and there is not a lot of shade, so be sure to bring lots of water!
