Definitely found it helpful to have microspikes and poles for the LONG hike up on the snowfield. DEFINITELY start early – way less people AND cooler. FAR too many people on the way down, maybe 20%? wearing masks as we passed. Crevasses – a few made me nervous to cross, but if you search along there are narrower places to jump across. There are toilets at camp, nice to know as it’s hard to bush pee on an exposed snowfield!!! LOVED sliding down. HIGHLY recommend. I skipped the first couple as I thought they looked a bit fast/scary but it was fabulous!!!! Have fun!
