The trail was very snowy with a fresh snow from this week, but some dicey areas as we got near the top that were icy and very slippery. Peak was very windy and icy so we only stayed up there for a second before coming down, but it was a beautiful day on Mount Baldy with some amazing scenery! At the very least, microspikes and trekking poles/ice axe recommended. One part of the trail got wiped out by a recent avalanche as well, so we had to go around it. Started at 7am and the trailhead wasn’t too full at this time.
