Smokey day at pilchuk

The trail was gorgeous for a week day. Not too many people whatsoever. The road to the trailhead is no joke and you should only have a high clearance vehicle. The fall foliage is gorgeous. I can’t wait to go back on a clear day to take in all the views. The bouldering at the end by the fire tower is worth it, just follow the yellow dots. It took us 3 hours 48 minutes to do the trail round trip. I highly suggest trekking poles.
