Snow and Sunset

We began to is trail at 1:30 not realizing how much snow we would encounter!  After about 2 miles the trail was mostly covered. We had poles, spikes could have been helpful but weren’t necessary. We submitted at 4:00. The view up there is incredible!  This being our second time, it was our first seeing the view because we had thick fog last year. We got back to our car before 6:00 and the tribal police was waiting to make sure we made it down. I appreciated that!  The sunset was magnificent and I highly recommend going in the afternoon.
