The weather was amazing today. Started at 0500 and it was about 50 degrees already. Did most of the trail in a T-shirt and shorts. There was snow/ice pretty compact about 2 miles into the trail. I sort of lost the trail for a little bit but thanks to AllTrails I figured it out. The snow wasn’t too hard to cross. I was wearing just boots and trekking poles. I would recommend going up the baldy bowl trail and down devils backbone.
